Blogs are about the comments as much as they are about the content to most readers. So, with the first part of this secret is to add the first comment yourself! Alternatively, you can use a ‘dirty strategy’ – get some people you know (or even pay somebody) to read and comment your blog! This is not cheating or anything else. The primarily reason for doing this is to start your blog discussion as quick as possible, building a momentum in your website. People will normally join into discussion only when your blog is seen ‘active’.
